California State Licensing Board has a voluminous and complex set of rules and regulations pertaining to the issuance of business operating licenses–whether they be for commercial fisherman, construction companies, energy producers, real estate brokers or mine operators. Obtaining a license from the California State Licensing Board for one of these or other activities can be very difficult. The requirements to maintain such licenses are also burdensome and complex. At the same time, loss of such a license can be quick and unexpected despite the license holder’s best intentions.
Many companies and individuals who hold licenses from the state must deal with unexpected issues, unfounded complaints, and suspension threats, but are not equipped to do so. When such licensing issues arise, the license holder should seek the appropriate legal advice and assistance.
